our house is done!!!!!!!

actually it's been done for about 6 years. we went to arizona this weekend for the main purpose of canceling our new build to get a previously owned home. and this is what we found. AND IT HAS A BLUE DOOR!!!!! i like blue doors.

it's right by wall-mart and costco. the new gilbert mall will be just down the street and the new 202 freeway is literally in front of our house. we will be getting a new in-n-out burger soon. and yes my friends that is oleander in my front yard AND we have some in our back yard in fact our front and back yard are COVERED with it. NOT my favorite plant, deadly in fact. all in all it is a great place. oh did i mention that a train runs through our back yard at all hours. it will be fine i grew up with a train going through my back yard and i honestly didn't here it.

so here is the hard part. the month of october has a lot of things in store for the benintendi family and it doesn't look like half of those things will happen. you see, we have a two week escrow which means that we will probably be leaving in three weeks. i'm not prepared......emotionally or otherwise. i have been crying for the last hour and on the verge of tears all day. i know this is where we are supposed to be but i still worry over knowing that the choices that we make are the right ones for the little people in our lives.

we'll keep you updated. :)

It is a beautiful house! Is it closer to Christine? Does this mean you will miss scrap weekend?

OH!!! I thought you were PREGNANT! This is such good news Stacy...I mean, I will totally miss you being so close and all but oh my gosh darn girl! You are moving into YOUR NEW HOUSE!! It is so nice, and 2 story..with a blue door. I know this is happening all too fast, but take a deep breathe, slow down and get yourself together...this is so exciting!! So are you closer to Christine...? Dang you guys are all too secretive Ü

Hey Stacy,
Take it from a moving PRO, yes 7 times in the last 5 years. You'll do great!! Yeah, it's a pain to actually move but once you are there and settled in to your HOUSE and make it your home, and get the kids settled into school you will feel so happy. Kids are resiliant and they will adapt to the change well. I have my kids in all different stages of their lives and they have all done great even with Marissa having learning disabilties and going to several different school and with all the changes in resource teachers. Fortunately only 2 of our moves have required the kids to change schools. If you want any packing tips or advice, or just want to talk give me a call or email me OK. I am so excited for you guys, your house is really pretty. I love the blue door too. Ü I am so glad you'll be close to Chritine again!!

It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Love, Shelly

What's the story on why you didn't get the house they were building for you. I know nothing.
