and there's one on it's way...........NO i'm not pregnant, it's my sister in law, she's having a baby girl who's due in january.

meet ayden. he is one of a kind and we don't get to see him often enough, well i say that but i think that tatum sees him plenty. you see they have a very unique relationship. he loves her AND abuses her and she loves him anyway. hahahahaha! it kinda reminds me of the relationship that tristan and brenna used to have. ( brenna is tristans friend from birth who moved away and now we get to live by her again in arizona. it doesn't get any better than that. ahh i got sidetracked ) i hope the other benintendis move near us (in AZ) so that we can change that relationship to just love over time.

we love you ayden, you are such a special boy.

the traveling clock

this is my clock. i've been looking for just the right HUGE clock.......and i've found it! there have been so many clocks that i have seen and thought i loved for around $100.00 and then i found this. it was $249.00 and on clearance for 187.00. i got it at 75% off at.............$67.00. isn't that awesome? i can't wait to hang it in my house.

hahahahaha! ok so it's not a "travleing" clock but it is a clock that had it's picture taken in a few places. whatever! i just love my new clock.

*EDITED* erin reminded me that i forgot to put the info where i got it from. i got it from west coas furniture on imperial near euclid. they are pretty expensive but they are having a GREAT sale this weekend including 75% off all accessories e.i. lamps, frames, clocks etc.

i wanna be a cowboy.......and you can be my cowgirl

last night our school had the annual arovista round up. we love going to this. we used to go even before our kids went to school there. there all kinds of fun carnival type booths and fun food and a band, just all around a fun night. the kids get to dress up like cowboys and cowgirls school that day. it is so fun to see every kids interpretation of "cowboy".

this is tatum right when we got there.....this calm didn't last long. she went crazy and jeff ended up taking her home after just a half hour.
oh jenna, what cute stuff. the kids in her class got to put beads on their hankerchifs to wear to the round up.
all of the second graders did square dancing that they have been working on for the last two weeks. they all did such a great job, even tristan despite his slightly goofy behavior as seen below. hahaha!


this picture was taken just to get a picture of the three of them together tatum went home seconds later and let me just say WHAT A RELIEF.
ahhh the happy children.....well tristan doesn't exactly look happy but he really is he just wanted to get to the booths.
all in all a pretty fun night!

happy birthday to you.......

she's two today! we are all so in love with this girl. look at how pretty she is i can just look at her all day.

we had a family party for her yesterday at my mother in laws house. while we sang happy birthday to her she blew out the candles four times. she doesn't quite get it yet but it was cute.

here she is eating her curious george cake....big bite. :) she picked out her own cake. she originally picked a pirate cake cause she has a sick fascination with pirates right now (she walks around saying "scary pirate") then she saw curious george and just had to have it.

when she saw her presents she she started yelling P-R-E-S-E-N-T-S! it was so fun to see her so excited about gifts i can't wait till christmas.

she is in LOVE with this hat as you can see. her aunt shawnah made this for her and she is so happy to have it.

here she is all ready to go in her birthday stuff. so sweet. happy birthday baby girl!
we're going to build a bear workshop and disneyland today so i'll have more pictures soon.

it's really hard to tell by this picture that anything has happened but in the last two and a half months jeff has gone from a size 54 to a size 42 and lost a total of 85 lbs........not bad huh?

he looks happier as you can see. he feels better, he gets around better, and life is just overall BETTER. that was the idea behind all of this right?

next time i post i'll try to get a picture that shows the difference. the doctors say that the first 100 lbs. isn't very noticeable (which is strange to me) but after 100 lbs you really start to see changes.
