you say tomato, i say tomahto

we had our home teachers over for family home evening on monday and they brought the lesson and the treat. mmmmmmm yummy!!!! they brought a flannel board story of the first vision. she told the story first and then had the kids retell it. jenna put the pictures on the board and Tristan told the story in his OWN WORDS. he did such a great job and had such a great time. it was truly entertaining. our favorite part was when he was talking about joseph smith retrieving the plates from the ground. he was trying to talk about how he translated the plates using the urim and thummim and he said, "and he translated them and he used the urine and thumb". my sweet boy. we were all in hysterics it was so hilarious.

That's so funny! That's just as good as the visiting teaching brunch we had on Saturday. Twoo ladies did a skit on the pros and cons of VT. One lady was trying to say the word bishop and ended up saying B***h! Lightning didn't strike but it was funny to see the different reactions some laughed out loud, some snickered with hands over mouth, and of course some pretended it never happened. I love church ladies.

He IS a sweet boy! That is way too funny Ü

Once, Lyndsie referred to the 'Gentiles' as GENITALS...needless to say scripture time was over because we couldn't stop laughing.

Oh my goodness, wish we had been there. He probibly didn't even realize what he had said and wondered why you were laughing. Miss my boy (and my girls). Loved spending time with you. To bad we were so busy with other things. We can relax at Easter time.
