home sweet home

or something like that. :)

so here it is! i can't tell you how seeing this pile of wood in the middle of all that dirt made me feel.....GREAT! probably not what you were thinking. our house is the first one to be built in our neighborhood and we are going to be A.L.O.N.E. alone. i thought i would be freaked and i might be once i get there but this is MY HOUSE! no crappy neighbors above me, no tiptoeing around, no mowing someone else's lawn, the list goes on and on. my home. our home.

a friend took these pictures a couple of weeks ago for us. today he road out to our place on his bike and said that there was a pretty nasty storm last nigh and that it was a mess of mudd but that the walls were up and the windows were in :) this is good news things are moving right along. when things aren't so messy their going to go back out and take some more pictures of the progress.

more updates to come of the house AND jeff. he's doing well by the way.

Hi Stacy,
We lived on our street alone for a while when we first moved into our home in Moreno Valley. It was great!! The only downside was that you have the noise and mess of everyone elses home being built around you... no biggy for you though I am sure. Congratulations...I am so happy for you guys. I am so glad Jeff is doing well too. We have been praying for him every night as a family.
Love ya, Erin

I'm sooo happy you arn't there during the building. I'm sure you know what I mean. It's all very exciting! Now it seems real and not just something we've talked about.

What does Shelly mean,"see you this week end"?
