this may surprise some of you..........

jeff was sitting next to me on the couch today and said, "you are never gonna believe what i almost brought home today". and i said, "what?" :) "a cat"! i have to say that i was very surprised since jeff has always been very clear on how he feels about cats.

we went to petsmart and found this sweet one year old kitty. at the time his name was gumdrop but jenna renamed him Franklin and tatum calls him frankowin.

here he is. he is (SO FAR) the perfect cat and he can't get enough attention.

now, i realized when i got him that i would have to forfeit scrapbook weekend at my house since one of the girls is allergic to cats but we just really wanted this for our family. so we did it. :) this will be quite an adjustment.

the great thing about adopting and older cat is that he is already box trained and he's not going to cry all night. i thought i wanted a kitten but there are such perks to haveing an older cat. oh yea he's already fixed too so that's something that we don't have to pay for. now that's good news. :)
