my friend jill from high school adopted a BEAUTIFUL baby girl in september and is expecting a baby boy to be born any day now. (adopted also) can you imagine two babies FOUR MONTHS APART!?!?!?! that just might be harder than twins. anyway, it is such an amazing blessing for her and her husband and for their whole family really and i just couldn't be happier for them.
i mades these two blankets for her. one for her beautiful daughter and one for her sweet baby hunter.
i usually do the squares on my rag quilts but christine had me convinced it was easier to do it this way. i think it was about the same but it was fun to do something a little different. these pictures do them NO justice. they really turned out cute if i do say so myself. :) :)
have a great day!

I LOVE these quilts. I have never thought of doing it in rows instead of squares. I think I might just have to try it!

I want one! Those are super cute. I will have to watch you make one sometime and then one day when I can sew, I will make one myself. That may be in a few years but I want to get around to trying it out eventually. Great job!
