two and a half years ago we moved into this house. it was such an awesome experience for our family. we have learned so much and grown in ways that have been surprising to me. without going into all of the unpleasant details, our circumstances have drastically changed. jeff is NOT unemployed and financially we are doing well. however, at the beginning of july we will be relocating...
...to this location. it's beautiful, it's a new start, it's $1600.00 a month less than what we are paying right now and it also happens to be 700 sq. ft. less than what we are living in. it is going to be an adjustment, mostly for me and we are going to have to get a storage unit for ALL of the things that won't fit in to that little place. it will be GREAT! we were really lucky to have found this place and it feels like the right thing for our family. the best part is that we get to stay in our ward with the people that we have grown to love so much. the other fun thing is that it is right across the street so moving will be pretty easy. getting people to be excited about walking heavy furniture across the street in the heat of an arizona summer is another thing.
we are going to be ok and i have to say that this is all just a part of us becoming who we will eventually be. :)

Sometimes things that happen are a little uncomfortable to begin with, but huge blessings in the long run. We are moving in July too, but in the Texas heat...I am not sure which is worse.
Good luck with the move!
Well atleast you get to stay in our ward. :) Let us know when you plan to move, and I will send Shawn over to help. :)
Both houses are very nice, and $1600 less is a HUGE difference! Good luck finding helpers, even across the street, it's going to be a lot of walking back and forth.
Love those palm trees to the left of the new house. I miss palm trees...
Count me in! love you!
now we can be in the same club even 1,000 miles away. we were right there with you last july.. stick together it just gets better
Exciting! No, really. That's a huge amount of money to be saving, PLUS...you will still be in a HOUSE. Be grateful. Apartment living is for the birds :)
Love you. Wish we were closer, we'd love to help you move all that furniture across the street! Changes are good, they give us the opportunity to grow (even in times we don't think we need or want the growth). The house is darling!
Wait, are you moving even closer to those crazy railroad tracks?? lol
I am SO happy that everything worked out and that you guys get to stay in our ward! YAY! I would have been so sad if you moved! We have moved 3 times in July so I totally know what its like so definitely count us in on being there to help! The more hands the better, right?! And I LOVE the last sentence of your post! SO TRUE! What a great way of looking at things!
pretty house. glad you are in the same ward.
Oh man Stacy what a little adventure it sounds like you're in for! I'm sorry for whatever crazy stuff has happened, but glad to hear that you're fine and braving it well. I love the new house, and how great to save that much every month!
I am so glad you get to stay in your ward! Your new house looks very perrrdy~ I can't beleive Addie's rash, the poor thing! That looks miserable. I am so glad that things are working out well kind of...You'll have to fill me in later. Good luck with the move. Can I help with anything? That means keeping kids while you pack too. Just let me know.
