i have the best visiting teacher...EVER!

i mean REALLY, how supportive is this? if you cant read this it says, "you can do it! hurray healthy! love you! -shelley".

it looked so pretty inside before i started to eat it but as you can see she gave me fruit and yogurt instead of the cookies that she could have brought. i scarfed the cantaloupe first that's why it's not in the picture and the rest didn't last much longer. it was the best snack. shelly thank you so much for being so thoughtful and supportive. FYI it was about 4 pts. :)
we had a huge visiting teaching change today and i hope she still gets to be my VT. everyone on my list is new including my companion but i'm super excited to get to know some ladies a little better. liz you're on my route now and i'm SO excited. :)

and now to leave you with a random thought that is actually repeated regularly in my house "having children is like being pecked to death by chickens". if you ever hear me say that i feel "pecked" that means that i've pretty much HAD IT! i know this had nothing to do with my post but i just wanted to share. :)

What a great idea, fresh fruit - why didn't I think of that??? I want you to know that for once, Jared actually gave me enough notice that he was going home teaching to make you guys a treat (which he never does), but I didn't want to send cookies, not even for the kids (I know how tempting that is because I'm the only one whose been eating the cookies around here, and I've just about finished them all off - pretty much by myself!) - and I totally could not think of a single thing to send! Darn! Oh, and you need to know that your comments totally motivated me to go to the gym that day (which was no small feat). Keep on keepin' on sister!

I wish someone would cut up my fruit for me. I'd definitely eat more of it! You have good friends Stac. Hey, did I tell you that Julie got me a Subscription to Fitness magazine for my Bday? I guess that's kinda the same thing as cut up fruit huh. :) Keep it up Baby Sister you can do it!

That is so sweet. You DO have such a great visiting teacher. Inspiring to do more for my sisters. :) I have NEVER heard you say you have been "PECKED" before. LOL Sorry about that. It was so fun to have you guys over on Friday and the kids really were so good.... just a little LOUD!!!

And you wonder why Tristan is afraid of chickens. Or, at least he was when I took him to see the neighbors chickens in Lake Mathews.

Mmmm, that looks so delicious. I think I'll go cut up some fruit. Hope the healthy eating isn't killing you. I gave up cookies and I'm on edge!

That is GREAT! Also I love the pecking quote. I think all moms can relate to that. :)
