the funniest thing i have EVER heard

a newscaster was giving ideas on how to NOT forget your children in the car this summer to swelter and die.

newscaster: to be sure that you don't leave your children in the car this summer, place something VALUABLE?????? on the seat next to them like your purse or wallet.

i'm even ok with, "place something next to them that you have to take into the store so that you CAN'T forget that they're there.

but VALUABLE? what's more valuable than your child?

i haven't stopped laughing about this for days.

That is pretty funny...I can't believe people actually forget their children! So sad!

That totally cracks me up! I even had to read it to Glenn. I hope the newscaster watches his segment again. How embarrasing for him!

Wow, there are some serious dummies out there. I thought the same thing, what is more valuable that your child?

Good luck trying to remember your kids this summer! :)

I wonder if the newscaster put up a fight before he had to say something so ridiculous. The only way I see this happening in reality, is if that lady who has 17kids with the 18th on the way realizes one is missing, because there are SO many kids.

How crazy is that. I stumbled across your blog because I have two blogs. A family blog that I am signed in as now and a ministry blog called Becoming Me! Your blog is great. Glad I found you.

Yes, Jeff....I will predict a boy! ;)

And now that I check back, that cute little cord has laid down nicely and it's not sooo 'penis' looking anymore! Now, about that grey bubble it's floating in.....

:)

do you remember which newscaster it was? do they have brains? they obviously don't have children, or maybe they just lost their prompter for a second.
